Thank you for visiting Sweet Birdie Boutique.

We have opened our Japanese shop on 2010 and also opened English shop on 2013.

And on 2022, we have combined both shops into a single system to run our shops more smoothly. Now internatonal customers can buy Japanese goods with the Japanese retail prices and check out with their own currency.

We have been also running Etsy shop since 2012.

Message from shop owner

Hello everyone! I am Eriko.

I live in Sapporo, northern part of Japan where we have lots of snow during the wintertime. I have been working in the trading company for over 20 years, which includes 5 years working experience in Europe.

About my dearest budgie, Toko

I have been living with a yellow budgie, Toko for 11 years and 7 months. We opened Sweet Birdie Boutique Together and enjoyed the communication with bird lover customres. She passed away on 15th of March, 2017.

She was not a pet, but my daughter. We had lots of fun together. I miss her so much. But I hope she is very happy in heaven. I love you, Toko. You are forever in my heart.

I also would like to introduce Shiro-chan, Japanese crested budgie. I lived with her only for onr year and 9 months. She suddenly left for heaven due to egg binding on 27th of March, 2022. She was a lovely budgie who could say her name, "Shiro, Shiro, Shiro-chan" very clearly. I was so sad to lose her so suddenly. She was just fine until this egg issue occured. I miss her so much and I have been worried she has been missing me, too. Many friends & customers told me that Toko takes good care of Shiro in heaven for me. I do hope Toko & Shiro are happy in heaven.
